CLASS DETAIL:
Expeditions bring students together to assemble a five-course dinner from the ground up. Argyle Street is where we begin the shopping for our dinner featuring the flavors of Thai and Vietnamese herbs and ingredients. After an introduction to the shops there, we'll return to the school to prepare a five-course dinner party. In the last hour of class we sit down to this party, complete with music, and enjoy the results of our efforts.
MEAL PREPARED:
• Carrot Bisque with Ginger and Coconut Milk
• Fish with Sweet Tamarind Sauce
• Salad of Lotus Root, Shrimp and Vietnamese Coriander
• Roasted Pork Tenderloin in Panang Curry Sauce
• Chilled Pineapple Soup with Wild Lime-Yogurt Sorbet
